Hello people, just wanted to leave a message here and say a few things:
As some may have noticed updates for Singularity have been getting slower and slower, this is primarily the result of a massive drop in my motivation. I feel like this has resulted in the last update not being thoroughly tested in game and the script becoming less polished as time went on. Back when Singularity was released the Lua scene for Nixware was much smaller and functionality was somewhat limited, for that exact reason Singularity was created and quickly rose to become (what I believe to be) the most popular free script for Nixware. In the last few months competition from notable projects has ramped up and the development of Singularity has slowed down. It is for those exact reasons that I think that this project will slowly start losing relevance as better and better projects come to light. I feel like I've done my "part" in this community, in a way, by indirectly motivating people to create better and better things. I think the time has come to officially put an indefinite pause to Singularity's development as I want to move to other, better things. Thanks for supporting my project thus far, everything will remain open source and everyone has permission to use, modify or even sell this project (NOT THAT PERMISSION WAS NEEDED IN THE FIRST PLACE SINCE IT'S OPEN SOURCE AND UNLICENCED (yes this is a jab at a few people)).
Special thanks to everyone that has helped me in the development of Singularity!
P.S: I might come back to fix Singularity if it ever breaks from events such as Nixware API changes or game updates but new features won't be coming out any time soon.
P.S 2: Will I change my mind about this and actually somehow find motivation to continue on with developement? Maybe... But at least for now this decision is finalised.
