We would like to draw your attention to a serious issue we have encountered in the past few days. We are currently facing attacks from malicious scripts that are being spread across various platforms, including our forum, video hosting sites, Discord channels, and others.
Hackers are actively stealing your accounts, including accounts on our forum, and using them to further propagate malicious code. The script itself is a simple loader that downloads an executable file from GitHub and runs it.
The only effective way to prevent such attacks is to implement a marketplace system that enforces strict control and auditing of scripts. Otherwise, any attempts to patch the issue will likely prove inadequate, especially considering the full memory access through FFI.
It is important to note that our forum section dedicated to configurations and scripts has always been unmoderated, and all executable files posted there are used at your own risk and responsibility. We have also become aware that malicious scripts are being distributed through private messages on the forum, as well as on gaming servers where someone might offer you a script to share.
